Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, post comments/answers, host a campaign, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, credit card information. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Non-personal identification information

To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them.
To send periodic emails
We may use the email address to send User information and updates pertaining to their campaigns, projects and sponsorships. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. Users will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. We try to keep emails to a minimum and you will have the ability to opt out in any correspondence. We may send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so.
How we protect your information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, name, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.
Sponsorships are transacted with a financial gateway and merchant bank account. By using our financial gateway, no credit card information is stored or seen by Thinkable servers. Your credit card information, necessary to make the sponsorship transaction is stored in a secure vault. Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.
We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored "personal data" (as defined in applicable state statutes on security breach notification) to you via email or conspicuous posting on this Site in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, insofar as consistent with (i) the legitimate needs of law enforcement or (ii) any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.
Regardless of these efforts by us, no data transmission over the public Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Any personal information or content that you voluntarily disclose in public areas becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others. If you have participated in a competition, we may share your personal identification information to the host organization, only when they require it to ensure the on-going success of their program. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our host organisations, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes where you will have the option to opt-out of receiving these notifications at any time.
Information you chose to display publicly
Profile Content is information about you (a user) that is contributed by you or inferred about you by your activity. Profile Content includes, but is not limited to, display names and images and is displayed publicly. Some users may also elect to publicly post personally identifying information about themselves in their normal use of the Site. This could occur through use of the optional profile fields (organisation affiliation, expertise, biography) or in question or answer posts. Information like that, which is voluntarily posted in publicly visible parts of the network, is considered to be public. This public profile content is made available via the Thinkable API ("API Profile Content") and is perpetually and irrevocably licensed to Thinkable under the Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike license.

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our Site from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
